KLAUS Multiparking provides turnaround solution ...
ParkDisc D450 ensures stress-free parking and exitNo more reversing out! Anybody who daily has to weave their way backwards from garage into busy traffic or has had enough of maneuvering back and forwards in their underground garage can benefit from a new solution. At the push of a button, cars can in future be turned on the spot by 180 degrees or even more. What makes this possible is the ParkDisc D450 360-degree turntable from Klaus Multiparking GmbH based in Aitrach (Baden-Württemberg).
“Spaces are becoming ever tighter, vehicles ever larger and our turntable ever more popular. It’s the ideal aid for driving in and out of parking spaces,” says Günther Seiderer, Managing Director of Klaus Multiparking GmbH. The specialist company in Aitrach near Memmingen is recognized worldwide as a pioneer and leading manufacturer of parking systems. 50 years ago, Klaus Multiparking developed its first “double parker”.
The ParkDisc from Klaus Multiparking can be used in various situations. The standard design alone can turn vehicles up to five metres long and weighing up to 2,500 kg with a maximum wheel load of 625 kg. That means even heavyweights like SUVs and other high-powered cars are effortlessly turned on the spot into the perfect parking and exit positions. Other specifications and dimensions are available on demand.
“Depending on the local situation, our ParkDisc can be installed either as a surface or underground facility. With the turntable, drivers save a lot of time and gain extra safety because they no longer have to manoeuvre. That cuts stress, especially for people who previously had to reverse into moving traffic every day, desperately waiting for the right moment. This daily adrenalin surge is now a thing of the past, and drivers can start their working day relaxed and calm,” says Thomas Baumgärtel, Head of Sales at Klaus Multiparking.
That explains why not only many private building contractors, but also investors are turning to the Klaus Multiparking system. “With the turntable you can optimally use the whole parking area for parking spaces and don’t have to leave a turning area,” says Baumgärtel, explaining another advantage of the solution. For extra user-friendliness, the Klaus Multiparking ParkDisc is also available with a dual-channel remote control and additionally with infra-red light barriers.
The turning part of the ParkDisc consists of several segments screwed together to form a solid frame. This is supported in the centre and borne on maintenance-free, ball bearing rollers in line with static stability requirements. The design guarantees a especially low-noise operation of the turntable. Thanks to the innovative drive technology, the Klaus Multiparking ParkDisc takes just 45 seconds to turn a full circle. In case of a power cut, you can turn the ParkDisc manually after manually releasing the brake.
